I enjoy capturing candid moments and human experiences in people's lives in my work. Even though a photograph is essentially doing the same thing, however, the process of transcribing that photograph onto the canvas through oil painting is something completely different. By doing this, it helps me process certain emotions or thoughts that I feel towards these moments and the people partaking in them.
