Though I began my artistic study as a painter, I have become more interested in textile art in recent years, and how I could incorporate it into my own practice. Because I struggle with abstract concepts, much of my work is very literal. That is not to say that there is no meaning to be interpreted, but rather that I often do not create art with any specific message in mind.
