Carah Elders is a twenty-one year old interdisciplinary artist who uses her hometown of Louisville as a diving board to the work that she creates. She uses the gentrified landscape of Germantown to discuss her own introspective position within the world. Carah specializes in illustration, digital collage, painting, drawing, and photography. She uses these skills in tandem with each other to create compositions that examine her life under a microscope through multiple lenses. Carah works in a gallery and uses her curating skills to help her become a multichanneled artist. She lives with her sweet poodle, Fifi, whom she loves very much and has graduated from Spalding University with Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art, with a concentration in Digital Media. She spends her non-art time with friends or in nature and enjoys a long run through Cherokee Park in the summer.
